Installation artist Jim Hodges’ fragile spider webs and flower curtains provided inspiration for Lela Rose’s diaphanous voile prints, translucent floral embroideries and shimmering organza for spring. Like all Rose’s outings, this was heavy on the pretty dresses: a full-skirted cocktail number in ice-blue jacquard; a gray draped-chiffon frock with a silver-dusted lace underlay; gowns with billowing, and bustled skirts in shimmering fabrics with etched flowers, though there were a few day options too.
